Getting the best hotel deal = Homework

I was looking for that better hotel deal bur shame on me for not calling the hotel and asking questions; the safe park cost me each time I took my car out so I ended up using the valet parking which was the same cost as the Hilton Checkers Hotel so I saved nothing. Ask question and research if the hotel charges for internet, if they do how much and is it true high-speed or is it just called that. Does it include breakfast? When traveling with my family I love Embassy Suites because of their cooked to order breakfast that’s included in there rate.   One time in San Francisco I stayed at an Omni Hotel that charged $14.50 for 3 pancakes and coffee was another $5.50…WOW! Call the hotel and ask are there any other charges added to my bill daily? Some charges I’ve seen are “energy fees”, “safe fees”, “resort fees”, “event fees” and I could go on and on. You get the picture …you can’t get a true picture of whether or not you getting the best hotel deal if you don’t know all the fee’s.
