There are newer hotels and more lavish hotels but for location and value I believe that the Royal Sonesta Hotel is the best hotel deal in New Orleans, LA. This Grand old hotel is located in the French Quarter on the most fun street in the U.S. Bourbon St. It’s built in the traditional French Quarter style, complete with gabled windows, French doors and wrought-iron laced balconies.
