The check-in was quick and flawless and the elevator and walk to the room showed a staff that cared for it guests. Every corner clean and every person I passed smiled and spoke. The entrance door to the room had some scuffs on it. Once I opened the door I was hit with a clean fresh smell and after inspection found the room to be spotless. The pool desk is one that I would expect to find in a higher end hotel and it offers a great view of the harbor and Port of Tampa. It is a great place to grab a book and unwind.

I had dinner that night in the dining room and found it to be casual and friendly with food I would sum up as “ok”. Not great but not bad. The service was attentive. The following morning the breakfast was an Embassy breakfast. They could improve their breakfast by simply having someone walking around serving coffee and chatting with the guests.

I was at the hotel for 5 days and found it to be outstanding the entire time. This is a hotel that could move into the best of the best if they would add more staff to breakfast and refill my cup.
